Medieval minstrel

The placement of this author’s compositions in the songbooks seems to indicate that he was a galician minstrel, like the authors around him. He could be natural of the Faro mountains region, between Lugo and Ourense, where there’s a village named Requeixo and a hermitage dedicated to Santa Maria de Faro, as the one mentioned in his songs. We don’t have, however, any other data regarding this minstrel.Bibliographic references
