Medieval troubadour

Portuguese troubadour active between the second half of the 12th century and the beginning of the next. A lineage by this name is referenced in the Lima valley, in São Pedro de Arcos, Bestiandos, at the time of the inquiries of King Denis (1288). Resende de Oliveira believes that a certain Estêvão Cubel mentioned there could be a brother of the troubadour.
