Medieval troubadour

Bibliographic notes

Troubadour of Galician origins (eventually from Parga, Lugo), but established in Portugal, where he married Teresa Martins Mogudo de Sandim, as the Book of Lineages of Count D. Pedro mentions, adding that he was mui bom trovador (a very good troubadour)(46C4). Mentioned in the 1258 royal inquiries as having assets in the Guimarães region, Vasco Fernandes Praga should be of a relatively old age at that time, as Resende de Oliveira notes (since a brother-in-law of his, Vasco Martins, already had grandchildren).
